Lynne Liked your article as always. Sharp has always been better than Dull - especially when it pertains to many things like people! Love the pics of the house and yard. Very peaceful and warm. Later...Pat.
My go-to sewing scissors are Ghinger with Guggenheim a close second. And David knows if he uses those to cut anything besides fabric, the sheriff will be on his way to escort him out in handcuffs. That knife, though . . . brand name? Does Sur La Table have their own line? And how are serrated knives sharpened? BTW, there is a knife sharpener at the northwestern most corner of Santa Cruz. As you roll into town, you will see signs. They operate every Saturday year round.
Pam, thanks for good questions. It’s been brought to my attention by certain family members (you know who you are!) that my post lacked some important details for people who might want to actually find or purchase these items I mention. Awrighty then! I promise to do better! The serrated scissors are Wusthof Classic. Don’t know if Sur La Table has their own line, and din’t know how serrated knives are sharpened. Reearching!
You're looking as radiant and chic as evah! And, I just love the flourescent greens of a California winter. XXO

Good note, Lynne. Happy New Year, btw. Love a good serrated bread knife. Works very well on those slipper tomato skins. Thanks for the scissor tips!

Always looking sharp! Happy New Year Lynney Pops xo
Love that knife. Is it 5” or bigger? I also have a new veggie knife that I love from Shun Cutlery Premier Grey Nakiri Knife 5.5”.
Bigger!
My fabric scissors cost me $40. These are considered “cheap” in the sewing/crafting community. 😬
I had a couple of knives sharpened for the first time ever at the farmers market this year. What a difference it makes!
